Biosketch: Dr. Duvall is a native of Louisiana. While growing up in Shreveport, he was an avid student and competitive swimmer. He is the second of four siblings, with an older sister, twin sister, and younger brother. During high school he was able to excel to the national level, qualifying for the Senior National and the Olympic Trials. He then completed his undergraduate education at the Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA, receiving an Bachelor's degree in Microbiology prior to completing medical school at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, LA. A general surgery residency was also completed at the LSUHSC-Shreveport campus. He will be entering a residency in Cardiothoracic Surgery with long term plans to practice adult cardiac, thoracic and peripheral vascular surgery.
