Assistant Professor
The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Professor within the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery. Candidates will have an opportunity to join a vibrant academic group in the beautiful city of San Antonio, TX. Preferred candidates will have experience in all aspects of General Thoracic Surgery including lung transplantation. Clinical, academic, and research productivity will be required, and the applicant must display interests in both teaching and program development in conjunction with our healthcare partners.
Candidates must be Board eligible/certified in thoracic surgery. Candidates should also have excellent leadership, organizational, and motivational skills, and demonstrate a clear commitment to both academic and clinical excellence.
