UT Health San Antonio at the Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine and the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery is recruiting a general thoracic surgeon with particular interest in lung transplantation to join an already established program with excellent outcomes and interest in developing EVLP, DCD, and ECMO.
The ideal candidate must be board certified or eligible in Thoracic Surgery and will have several years of experience performing lung transplantation, as well as expertise in performing MIS (robotics a plus) - although new or recent graduates will be considered. This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic faculty member to relocate to a beautiful city, eventually becoming the surgical director of a lung transplant program already known for its clinical excellence and rich history, joining experienced surgeons and partners who are willing and able to support an equitable call schedule.
