Patient Care — Endovascular surgery for thoracic aortic disease
Diseases of the thoracic aorta include aneurysms, dissections, ulcers, traumatic tears and coarctations: In the past, all of these entities required major open surgery through major incisions in the chest. We offer the ability to treat many of these diseases using a novel endovascular approach often involving only small groin incisions. We use special catheters and wires, combined with fluoroscopic imaging, to deliver specialized stentgrafts to treat a wide spectrum of thoracic aortic disease. Our endovascular surgery team includes V. Seenu Reddy, MD, MBA.
