Rebecca Medina received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Phoenix and her Associate Degree in Nursing.
Rebecca is a surgical nurse coordinator & case manager, and has been with the department since 2005. Her nursing experience includes direct patient care for all cancer specialties, post anesthesia care unit and cardiac ICU care, supervision of a multimodality clinic which cared for surgical, pulmonary and cancer patients.
She currently coordinates care for patients that have a diagnosis of esophageal cancer, esophageal abnormalities, lung cancer, coronary artery disease, cardiac valve disease and adults with a congenital cardiac diagnosis. Rebecca is the primary nurse for Dr. John Calhoon, Dr. Scott Johnson, Dr. Daniel DeArmond and Dr. Adil Husain.
