San Antonio Heart Support Group
Next meeting – Monday, November 1, 2010 — Medications and Common Effects |
Download flyer
Patients with heart conditions are often on many medications for blood pressure,
diabetes, and high cholesterol. Those who have undergone heart transplantation are
also on immunosuppression. While these medications are very effective, they can also
cause unwanted side effects. Furthermore, many of these medications can interact
with each other. We’ll discuss how and why we choose these medications to
maximize their effects and limit adverse reactions.
When: 5 pm, 1st MONDAY of each month
Where: CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Medical Center, Tower I, Suite 300, 2829 Babcock Road, San Antonio 78229
