As part of our goal to advance the field of medicine, the Faculty of the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery participate in a number of clinical, basic science, and translational research projects. The goal of our research is to better understand factors which affect outcomes related to cardiovascular and thoracic diseases and treatments.
The Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery weekly research meetings are held every Wednesday from 12.00 – 1.00 pm in the CT Conference Room 211L. Interested students and residents are encouraged to attend to learn about our research efforts and participate as time allows.
